Day VIP tickets to the general public & discount to students
Day VIP tickets (limited seats available) can be purchased by the general public (so everybody interested in this program who is not working or studying at the Rietveld)
Day tickets grant you a comfortable VIP seat at the front rows and full attendance to the whole day program.
We highly recommend that you visit the conference at the beginning of the day in order to secure a VIP seat.
Notice: The Rietveld Cantina will be open during conference hours for low price snacks, meals and drinks. Please keep in mind that payments at the Cantina can only be made by PIN cards.
Prices:
- Day VIP ticket: 12 euros
- Students outside Rietveld Academie: 8 euros (33% discount with student card)
Notice: A 33% discount on full price tickets is applied to 3-days reservations and above.
How to reserve
General public and students outside Rietveld Academie can reserve a day ticket at:

Reservations should be made at least two days prior to the event. (Please provide full name and occupation)
When to pay
Payments can be made in cash only upon arrival at the front desk.
A 33% discount on full price tickets is applied to 3-days reservations and above.
Rietveld Academie: students & faculty
(including students at the Sandberg Institute)
No Reservations Needed / No Entrance Fee
Notice: Faculty and students of Sandberg Institute can pick up a Day Free Pass at the front desk at the beginning of each conference day.
What is a Saving Card
Each lecture slot and SHADOW CABINETS attendance will be marked on a special student’s Saving Card.
Each slot and Shadow Cabinets event responds to a specific number of points.
Long slots will be rewarded with extra attendance points.
All students of the Rietveld Academie (foundation year, second & third year) except those at Dogtime and those in their fourth and final year have to collect a minimum of 14 attendance points.
What is a slot
Slot is a group of lectures or other activities as indicated on the squares of each Savings Card.
Where can I get a Savings Card
Rietveld students can pick up their personal Savings Card (valid for all 4 days) by indicating their student card at the front lecture desk at the beginning of each conference day.
The student office will announce a location to drop off your Saving Card, one week after the end of the conference.
Important notice
- Savings Cards are mandatory for first, second and third year students
- Lecture and Shadow Cabinets doors will close at the beginning of each slot and workshop.
- There are no regular tutorials during this week and all workshops will be closed.
